  • 2026 Spring Team Raffle Baskets

    2026 Spring Team Raffle Baskets

We are excited to be kicking off the 2026 spring season with an opening day celebration. On Saturday, March 7th, we will have our raffle basket fundraiser at Harveston Community Park during the event. Each team will be responsible for submitting a themed raffle basket. Parents on your team are kindly asked to donate items or money to help build the basket.

A suggestion would be to create a Google Doc sign-up sheet or a sign-up via Signup Genius. This will help avoid duplicate donations and allow everyone to see what items are still needed. You could also take the amount and divide it up between the team, and one person does the shopping and assembly with the contributions received. It is a good idea to ask for items by Tuesday, March 3rd, so you have time to collect the items and put the basket together. Below is a list of ideas for themes for your team’s basket:

  • 2026 Spring Season Volunteers – Mandatory Items

    TYB Managers and Coaches,

As we get ready for the season, our top priority is, and always will be,the safety and care of our players. The following requirements help ensure that every child in our league is protected and supported in a safe environment.

    Live Scan Requirement – Mandatory

All managers and assistant coaches must complete a Live Scan background check. This is a California state law requirement and is non-negotiable for anyone who will be on the field with players.

To show our appreciation for everything managers do, the Board will cover the cost of Live Scan for all managers. Assistant coaches are required to complete Live Scan as well and will be responsible for their own payment.

    On-Site Live Scan January 24th
LOCATION: Paseo del Sol Clubhouse, 32628 Leena Way, Temecula, Ca 92592

    • Available from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
    • Cost for assistant coaches:
      • $40 cash, Venmo, or Zelle
      • $42 if paying by credit card
    • Includes both DOJ and FBI clearance

Managers must use the on-site Live Scan provider in order for the league to cover the cost. Assistant coaches may complete Live Scan elsewhere, but it must be completed by 2/2/2026. The required form is attached. Please complete it ahead of time and bring it with you.

Required Safety Trainings – Also Mandatory

Per PONY Baseball guidelines, all rostered adult coaches (managers and assistant coaches) must complete the required safety trainings before participating on the field or in the dugout. These requirements are also non-negotiable because the well-being of our players comes first. It is also a good idea to have team parents complete these as well.

Required trainings include (links to training):

If you have already completed the Mandated Reporter Training, please send an electronic copy of your certificate. Live Scan and Mandated Reporter only need to be completed once. Concussion and Cardiac Arrest trainings must be renewed every two years. All forms are available under Coaches Corner on the website.

TYB has updated Coaches Corner to include a link to the Live Scan form, you can find it here:
