Volunteer with Temecula Youth Baseball (TYB)

Why are volunteers important to TYB? Volunteers are the absolute backbone of our youth baseball program for Temecula and the surrounding communities. From managing teams to supporting day-to-day operations, volunteers ensure our programs run smoothly and provide a memorable, positive experience for the kids. Simply put, without our dedicated volunteers, there would be no Temecula Youth Baseball.

What do volunteers do? Volunteers take on various essential roles to support the league. This includes managing or coaching a team, acting as a team parent, helping with field maintenance, or assisting during league events. Managers and coaches work directly with the players, teaching them the fundamentals of baseball, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Other volunteer roles focus on the logistical support that keeps the season running seamlessly. We have plenty of different ways for you to get involved!

What is the time commitment? Volunteer commitments typically last for the duration of a single season (Spring or Fall). If you are managing or coaching a team, you can expect to commit time to regular practices and games each week. Of course, we encourage our volunteers to return season after season, as experienced returning coaches and helpers are a huge asset to the league. Whether you have a lot of time to give or just a little, there is plenty of work to be done. It’s always better when the work can be shared by many hands.

Who should volunteer? We are always looking for individuals who have an interest in youth baseball, possess a positive attitude, and have a passion for mentoring kids. Whether you have years of baseball experience to share as a manager, or you just want to help organize team events as a team parent, your skills can be leveraged to help TYB remain the top youth baseball program in the valley.

Your application will be reviewed by our staff, and you will be contacted regarding the next steps—which will include a mandatory background check to ensure the safety of all our players.
